Immos for more than one machine: join an Active Directory domain, or enrol a household or small business into managed mode.

New in 0.3.0 · testing channel

Immos is built for single machines first, but it also answers the question every second machine asks: who is allowed to log in to this one? There are two mechanisms, and they are mutually exclusive — a machine is either local-only, joined to a domain, or managed, never more than one.

  • Active Directory — Join an Immos machine to a Windows domain, and let the domain decide who logs in. One command, no configuration files to hand-edit.
  • Managed mode — One place for the accounts of a household or a small business. Machines enrol with a code and stay in sync — online or off.
